I had an episode of bleeding vaginally after bowel motion, my period isnt due for 2 weeks and ive never had this before. i also get a pain central upper abdomen when i press below my belly button? iud in situ also. what might this be?

Observe closely to make sure the blood coming out from the vagina or from the rectum so you can tell your doctor if bleeding recurs because the work up will be different. If you have structural lesion in the uterus or from the rectum, bleeding will recur. The pain you feel when pushing down at the navel area does not come from the uterus which is located much lower.
