Yes, gabapentin can cause drowsiness, dizziness, dysequilibration, and if your modest dose is increased, the side effects will likewise increase. Contact your doctor, and discuss switching to a different drug.

Also consider decreasing dose to 100mg and slowly working way up under the direction of the doctor.
