Been taking gabapentin 300 mg twice daily for nerve pain for 6 days. feeling mild dizziness, unsteady, nausea and just an off feeling. would it be ok to stop it?

Since you are a relatively low dose, would anticipate more side effects if titrated upwards. Would let your doctor know of the adverse effects. Alternative medications for "nerve pain" are available and perhaps better tolerated. Yes, you can stop but would taper under your doctor's supervision.
