There may be wax in the ear canal which conducts sound to the tympanic membrane. The removal may include an over the counter ear wax removal kit. If this does not relieve the chronic symptoms, a follow up appointment with your PCP or with ENT is recommended.

Most likely you have chronic rhinosinusitis due to common cold + COVID-19, Viral sinusitis occurs far more frequently than secondary bacterial sinusitis. Patients with viral sinusitis have purulent nasal discharge and nasal obstruction or facial pain/pressure/fullness or both. You should see either your PCP or an ENT, you may need decongestants or a short course of steroids and also ear cleaning.

Your symptoms need the attention of an ENT specialist. My ears were clogged and when the wax was removed no more sound. COVID is not the problem ,it's the pressure and or the wax.
