An oncologist is the obvious choice to advise you if and what type of chemotherapy is advisable in addition to surgical removal of the tumor. Radiation therapy may also be advised. Treatment before any metastases have occurred is key. I don't think type of treatment depends on whether you have or don't have the chek 2 mutation.
