A member asked:

Non reactive rpr, rfx qn rpr/confirm tp at 5.5 weeks and non reactive syphilis tp antibody with reflex to confirm at 7 weeks after unprotected sex. are these results pretty promising?

Testing at 6 weeks after exposure is sufficient to rule out syphilis if both TPA and RPR are negative. For info: https://www.cdc.gov/std/syphilis/stdfact-syphilis-detailed.htm

yes. But please be careful. ALWAYS use prophylaxis if partners health history not known.
