I take 1 scoop of chia seeds along with 2000 mg omega 3 supplement for about a year so far, is this ok to continue? also, i am post menopausal and for years have been taking 1800 mg of calcium supplements, is this also ok to continue? thanks?

We cannot attest to the purity or efficacy of chia seeds as they are not investigated by the FDA. 2000 mgs of fish oil and 2000 mgs of omega 3 acids are not the same things. I prefer purified high grade liquid omega 3 products giving you daily combined doses of EPA & DHA of 500-1000 mgs per day. Omega 3 fatty acids have been heavily studied through the years and taking them may be beneficial.
