Is it common for aldara cream to burn skin even when its not applied, i put some cream on for the first time 2 days ago and washed it off and it burns ever since and i havent put it since then and it still burns?

Yes it will cause burning on normal skin. The burning will go away in a few days. Next time before you apply it put a light coating of Vaseline around but not on the wart.
