Ive had impaired nasal breathing, chronic post nasal drip, and sinus-infection like symptoms for years. ive seen several ents, ive been diagnosed with bi-lateral haller cells but no doctor has thought it could be causing my symptoms. what do i do?

Would also consider food allergy testing especially dairy. I have had a number of patients who had chronic sinusitis and when they eliminated dairy from their diet the sinusitis resolved. There may be other allergens as well. Also consider reflux with or without H pylori a bacteria( especially if worse on waking). Can try omeprazole/ famotidine. F/u/ w/ allergist

Chronic sinus infections may result in impaired local clearance of mucus. A course of antibiotics should be discussed, allergy testing to include common molds, dust mite and other allergens is recommended. Test for COVID 19 and viral infections with a nasal swab. Use nasal saline rinses and discuss with your PCP whether Flonase is indicated to reduce inflammation. Did ENT request any imaging?
