For the past month or two i have been experiencing a stabbing sensation in my left groin. it seldom lasts for more than one second and seems to occur randomly. on a scale of 1 to 10 the sensation is a 1. the area is not sensitive to touch or pressure?

Your pain in the groin area is too mild to worry about it. Unless it is getting worse over the next 4-6 weeks, you can ignore it. There is no clear cause for short lived pains. Only if the pain is persisting for minutes to hours and it is getting worse would I be worried about it.
