Had my period last week. having stomach cramps for over this week, feeling as if i have a runny stomach. however i only pass one maybe two small, very soft/slimey stools. also have sharp pain/pressure from left side of pelvis/ovary. what can i do?

Giardia or amebiasis: As you have symptoms of stomach cramps, frequent urge to have borek movement, slime in stool but no fever or diarrhoea, it may be giardiasis or amoebiasis, caused by swallowing contaminated water or food or person to person contact. Please go and see the doctor for diagnosis and treatment. Symptoms may be self limiting but parasite may still be excreted and cause infections to the others.
