A member asked:

Can you recover from antibiotic resistance? or does it last for a lifetime?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is not the person who is resistant to antibiotics but the microorganisms causing the infection. If the person is infected with a different organism or a different strain of the same organism, the antibiotic may be effective.
