See Doc: Sounds like you had a similar event last month which responded to antibiotics. You may wait and see if you can weather the problem without antibiotics. If your symptoms worsen, see your MD for exam and perhaps another course of antibiotics. If you have repeated episodes of tonsillitis, see ENT about tonsillectomy.
