Anemia and reactive thrombocytosis, if caused by uterine fibroids, are the results of bleeding from the fibroids and abnormal vaginal bleeding should be present. If you do not have abnormal vaginal bleeding such as prolonged or heavy period or irregular cycles (menorrhagia), the etiology of your anemia needs to be re-evaluated. Uterine cancer also manifest with abnormal vaginal bleeding.
