My pincer movement in my left hand is extremely weak (almost non existent) i find i cant tie my shoe laces, or button up my coat ... also using a fork to eat is virtually impossible. there is some mild aching and stiffness in that hand?

As mentioned, in absence of exam or direct visualization, tough to be precise. Could consider a peripheral nerve such as ulnar or median, but may have suffered a lacunar stroke. Get evaluation ASAP.
