A member asked:

Can fibromyalgia cause bladder pain? i have a sedentary life laying down a lot not going to the gym. all my blood work cmp, cbc, ultrasound and urine culture came back fine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

"Bladder pain" caused by fibromyalgia would indeed be an unusual location, and would suggest a need to uncover a different co-morbidity. Since fibromyalgia is often a diagnosis of exclusion, perhaps it is best to discuss whether instead you might have a complex regional pain syndrome or even a small fiber neuropathy.
