A member asked:

Small amount of tiny bubbles in urine. had my routine cbc and cmp blood tests last month and all was good. do i still need urine test? should i worry?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bubbles are normal: A chemical urinalysis is indicated at the time of your routine physical exam. Everybody produces some mucus from the urothelial lining of the bladder and this in turn probably accounts for the bubbles. The foam of heavy proteinuria is distinctive and if this is present, your routine urinalysis will detect it.
