I've been having gerd issues lately and i also have chest pain that feels like a pulling sensation and also makes me feel like im blacking out for a second. also very anxious. heart rate, ecg, and blood pressure are normal. should i still be worried?

Another cause of central chest discomfort is esophageal spasm. Often it causes severe chest pain which lasts for varying periods of time. If the vagus nerve is activated low blood pressure and/ or slow heart rate can occur causing lightheadedness. For peace of mind& to exclude coronary artery disease undergo a maximal treadmill stress test. Discuss with your MD

GERD usually does not result in feeling faint. Keep well hydrated, discuss whether a Holter monitor test is indicated. Watch for signs of vomiting, nausea, loss of blood. A HCT test may also be indicated. Keep vaccinations up to date, including the COVID 19 vaccination per CDC guidelines.
