The discontinuation of your daughter's medication is not recommended, unless there is a Neurologist supervising. Seizures may remain under control or recur. Discuss whether you are concerned about side effects and whether the dose may be reduced.

Bottom line is necessity to keep the anti-epileptic meds in therapy range, with or without the fluvoxamine, and this could need close supervision by your doctors. Discuss your wishes at length, and also, the future of your daughter's medications. Work closely with a neurologist.
