Hello, please someone with experience of using vidas hiv duo ultra test take this up? if the antibody part of the test is negative & p24 part is not determinable, does that mean the test is negative? this is my understanding from its package insert?

If the result is not conclusive, it would be prudent to get a HIV nucleic acid test. Get the test 6 weeks or more after potential exposure.

Hi Dr, how accurate is the antibody part of a 4th generation test at detecting hiv-2 at 38 days post exposure since p24 is not detectable on hiv-2. Doc has said I am conclusive about my negative status. Exposure was in Thailand.
