What to you mean by "cut"? If you were injured at that site, that's probably the cause. If you have a genital ulcer -- i.e. an open sore -- herpes may be possible. See a doctor or clinic ASAP: herpes diagnosis is much easier and more accurate if a lesion is no more than a few days old. A single genital ulcer also is typical for syphilis. hard to say without exam But herpes causes little sores (vesicles) and sex with someone who has it. which then heal and from your description chances are it is not. Wash with soap and water apply antibiotic ointment and it should heal. Good luck
