I have a squeezing or pressure feeling in my forehead and around the ears that comes and goes today. i do feel tension in my neck and shoulders but no pain any where. could this just be sinuses, ears or tension without the headache?

Those symptoms can happen to anyone at some time and likely they are transient. I doubt if you have any problem with sinus, ear or tension headache. You can take 2 tablets of Ibuprofen and go from there. You will be fine next day. However, if symptoms persist or get worse, you can call your doctor for help.
