Dark dry spot on both of my elbows. it is not itchy but when i feel it it is very dry. i dont know how long i have had this for. it never bothers me so i don't notice. but when i feel my elbows i notice it. is it something i should be concerned about?

Nothing to worry, you can apply moisturizer to those areas twice a day and after taking bath to make the skin softer. Skin over the elbow is always darker than the surrounding.
