3 y.o has had viral synovitis in her knee for almost 6weeks & it's still swollen &she is still limping &in alot of pain. what can heal it faster? she takes motrin &uses heating pad &ice. will her joint have long term damage or deformity?

It is important to follow up with your family doctor for reevaluation. It is important to use a wrap to reduce movement at the joint as child is active. Continue other things you are doing however it is difficult to predict what could happen in the joint on the long term.
