No.I have not seen reports of it affecting your cholesterol and LDL as blood levels driven by you genes and your diet. So most likely you changed your diet between studies. Some folks are very sensitive to diet. Do a family tree for cholesterol and heart disease. And learn to feed your roots correctly... to keep lipids healthier.

There are published reports of accutane increasing lipid levels. This is of concern depending on how long the drug(accutane) needs to be continued. At you age ,I would avoid drugs that elevate your lipids. Please discuss this with your physician who can get into details regarding family history of heart or vascular disease and give you appropriate advice. Good luck.
