Been on omeprazole 20 mg once every morning and mylanta every evening for years for bile reactive gastropathy .better but still some pain. if i increase omeprazole 20 mg to twice daily for a few weeks will it be harder to get off the omeprazole?

If you're experiencing symptoms caused by bile reflux which is usually caused by prior surgery or pyloric valve damage. I'm not sure you're getting the proper treatment for it. Should you seek a second opinion? Chronic bile reflux can lead to serious esophageal & stomach damage. I don't think taking omeprazole twice daily would be a problem though.
