Hi my last period was 31 days ago , i had spotting for a whole week around week 2. after that no bleeding. my period is due but hasnt come yet. could the spotting have been a period ? or should i be expecting my period to come soon ?

Irregular menstrual periods are common. The fluctuations of estrogen and progesterone can be easily affected by pregnancy, stress, weight gain/loss, thyroid problems, and uterine issues such as adenomyosis or fibroids. If they persist, and you are not pregnant, talk to your Dr about your irregular periods and what testing can be done to determine the cause.
