Why?: Curious why someone would want to do this. It has been used as an insect repellant. Many herbs have been tried for lots of things by somebody. Doesn't mean it's a good idea. A reference online is at: http://pharmacology.Georgetown.Edu/urbanherbs/catnip.Htm.

Nepeta cataria : Or catnip. This plant does not produce a high. If someone tells you they got a high from using catnip, it was probably mixed with marijuana or some other illicit substance. Think about it, if it had any meaningful hallucinogenic or euphoric effect, do you think this plant which is so ubiquitous would be legal?
