Why does ibuprofen cause bladder pain and hardly being able to pee taking it for a week or more?

Ibuprofen can cause acute renal failure which makes you pee less (oliguria) but not bladder pain and difficult to pee. You need to see your doctor as soon as possible, do not blame Ibuprofen.

The two may be unrelated. You may have a urinary infection and it would be prudent to see a doctor or go to the ER of a nearby hospital. Wish you good health!
