A member asked:

Much scar tissue following surgeries for bladder cancer. i've taken much ibuprofen for a herniated disc. can this cause hydronephrosis?

No : Ibuprofen does not cause Hydronephrosis which is dilation of the pelvis of the Kidney due to back pressure Most often it is caused by kidney stone but scarring due to other causes such as radiation or rarely surgery can cause Hydronephrosis I hope that helps

Insufficient info: What type of surgery?TUR bladder tumors or cystectomy?Where were you told the "scar tissue"is?Did the surgeon tell you this?Ibuprofen does not cause hydronephrosis.I assume you are under urological care for the hydronephrosis.Good luck.
