In your case I would insist on an accurate diagnosis in order to obtain appropriate treatment. I recommend consulting a rheumatologist. Fibromyalgia comes to mind.

Have you been evaluated by a neurologist or orthopedist for this problem? If not, you need to see either of them for a definite diagnosis. If neurologist or orthopedist thinks you need physical therapy and the current PT does not work, you should see a physiatrist.
