No. I suppose you received 4-5 tetanus immunizations before entering elementary school followed by 2 booster shots, at age 11-12 and age 22-23. If so, you are well protected.

While you do not need another tetanus booster, superficial infections are still possible and watching the wound closely until healed is recommended.

You do not need a tetanus booster. You may apply triple antibiotic cream to the wound to prevent other bacterial infections. Get HPV, Flu and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!
