I have a cut on my arm i was wondering if it was healing or infected?

The best way to find out is to have a doctor look at it. If it is red around it, swollen and/or there is pus coming out of it, then it is likely infected. If none of those things are present and it is scabbing over, then it is likely healing. Hope this helps! If there are signs of infection, call your doctor. Best of luck to you!

This is a good article that summarizes the stages of wound healing. Depending on how deep a laceration is, sometimes getting stitches helps reapproximate the wound and speed up the healing process.
