A member asked:

Our house water temperature can get up to 120 degrees. i'm 8 weeks pregnant and was just washing some dishes with the water almost as hot as it can go for 10 to 15 minutes. did i hurt my baby? i wasn't sweating, my hands were definitely hot though?

Exposing your hands to hot water does not transfer that heat to baby. Do not waste any time worrying about this event. You need to spend your thoughts on preparing for baby.

No, you did not harm your baby. For the sake of your and your baby's health, you should have regular antenatal visits with a doctor, preferably an obstetrician. Wish you good health and a healthy baby!
