I have tried to go without my venlafaxine under dr. supervision but i feel very angry without it. does this mean i have to take it forever?

Serotonin d/c?: It would depend on the reason for which you are taking the med in the first place. If you have depression with associated agitation/irritability that was remedied with venlafaxine, maybe one should consider a more extended course. Do understand that stopping one of the serotonin "enhancing" antidepressants can cause numerous symptoms: tiredness, disconnectedness, flu-like symptoms, irritability.
