Can lungs ct scan detect copd condition?

A chest CT can detect changes that are consistent with COPD. It is very helpful to also have pulmonary function testing to see how well the lung is ventilated during inhalation and exhalation. These 2 things along with a good history and physical can help make the diagnosis of COPD.
