A member asked:

Can an engorged tick lay eggs on your skin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The fact that the tick is engorged means it has spent enough time to feed. The egg laid on the skin is not the problem as much as what could be germs that could have been regurgitated into the blood vessels during the process of feeding. They are also likely to stool during the process of feeding on the skin.
