For 14 months, after a concussion i have had mouth tingling, tongue , and strong metallic taste. my throat feels tight. all kinds of scans and blood work and no answers. could it be related to the concussion?

It could be. Have you seen a Neurologist? Have you seen your Dentist to rule out periodontal disease?

Many reasons for metallic taste in mouth. Since blood work and scans normal possible. Possible poor oral hygiene habits, bleeding gums and eating rich foods. Medications and antibiotics can also cause a metallic taste. All have no relationship to a concussion.
