Whenever i took 100mg modafinil for wakefulness, it resulted in frequent yawning that wouldn't stop until drug effect subsides. is this a side-effect or the drug is not working for me effectively because i felt it seem to not working for me ?

It is a reported side effect, said to be most common in older white men for some reason. Interesting that you would have that. It does sound like the medication made you yawn but did not give you the effect you wanted.
