Rhodeola Rosea: I would not recommend the combination, since it has MAO (mono amine oxidase) inhibiting properties, which contraindicates combining it with serotonergic agents such as lexapro, (escitalopram) due to potential for serotonin syndrome. Also, no enough scientific evidence to suggest its use to supplement mood elevation.
