Probably there's no need to wait at all: steroids like budesonide and other immunosuppressive drugs can make vaccines ineffective but usually do not. For sure they do not make vaccination riskier. Taking such drugs means it's that much MORE important to get vaccinated against COVID; if not yet vaccinated, do it now. Check with your doctor if you remain concerned. Good luck and happy new year!
