Any growth on or around the face area can have a variety of causes from benign moles, warty growths, keratoses, to various kinds of skin cancers. You should be seen by a Dr in person to have the growth removed and biopsied.

The nose is a sun-exposed area of the body. Cancer such as melanoma appear asymmetric, with irregular borders, various colors, large in diameter, and evolve over time. Other cancers could be squamous or basal cell. Benign causes could be as previously mentioned. The growth would need to be visualized by a medical professional.
