I got my belly button pierced 5 months ago. i am starting to notice a small bump with whitish-yellowish pus in it near the hole. i'm not sure if it's infected or if it's apart of the healing process. there is no redness, pain, etc. just the bump/pus?

It sounds like an abscess. Pl see your MD. Keep area clean with soap and water.

Remove the piercing. There is an infection that is resulting in pus and removing the foreign body . "piercing" would be a start to help your body in healing.
