Yes, if it's prescribed & effective. A certain systemic adverse effects does happen with joint steroid injection but it should not prohibit you from taking Medrol pack. However, you should watch for its adverse effects on blood pressure, blood sugar, skin and bone, etc. if you have to take Medrol pack repeatedly. If that is the case, you should consider surgical option for your shoulder problem.
