One simple method would be to use a pharmacy chain with branches in the states where you travel. It is easier for them to transfer refill requests when you have a prescription based in one state. You can also ask the doc to authorize several months at a time. Most pharmacies carry the same meds or equivalent.

One can consider joining a telemedicine primary care service such as HealthTap and choose a doctor who is licensed to treat patients and write prescriptions in most or almost all states in the nation. That way, such a patient can establish care (by doing 1 or 2 video visits) well before any travel, and then do a video visit with the same doctor while traveling in other states and needing refills.
