Lots of things can cause hair loss. The first thing to look at is the pattern - is it spotty, all over, or just on top? The next thing is to look at hair follicles - are you loosing follicles or is your hair just breaking off? When you look at your scalp, is there thinning of follicles? Many possibilities and many solutions, might be worth seeing a hair specialist or Dermatologist.

A visit to the PCP for Thyroid Function Tests among others, might be appropriate at this time. Also one should review the hair products they use to see if there are any potential culprits items in them. One should also see the Dermatologist to be sure there are no issues with dandruff...
