Why speculate???: See a dermatologist for diagnosis and directed therapy.Maybe ALOPECIA AREATA, an autoimmune condition. Other diagnoses possible. Need exam. Why guess?? Stress may cause this from long-term compulsive neurotic rubbing of the same place. You will know if you are doing this.
