Irregular menses could be caused by numerous things: stress, endocrine/hormonal and congenital disorders, clotting disorders, ovarian disorders like PCOS. I agree, a full history and physical with blood work will help. Starting at 21, women should be screened for cervical cancer with a pelvic exam and Pap smear.
