The vast majority of HSV2 infections are genital and do not involve the mouth or oral cavity, hence no risk of transmission by you kissing or performing oral sex. Also, you may need confirmatory testing to determine if you actually have HSV2. The blood tests are not perfect and positive results often are false, especially if the reported index value of the test is low (under 3.0).
