Chlamydia infections cause minimal to no symptoms and the risk would correlate to how long you had it before it was first detected. If you had negative tests prior to your first positive test then the risk of tubal damage is very low. Once treated you have no continuing risk, but if you now have tubal blockage the Chlamydia is a likely explanation
